Aden Kent Ramsey is a composer of musical theatre and film living in the New York City area, whose works includes the scores to The Curious Contents of Christie’s Wastebasket (workshop/performed at the Berklee Theatre Arts Collaborative, staged reading by equity actors at NYU), Chicken Noodle Woop! (4@15 Four New 15 Minute Musicals and performed at the Royal Family Arts Center), One Wish (read by equity actors at NYU), and Survive (finalist in the Ken Davenport 10 Minute Play competition). Current projects include The Ghost in the Machine (words by Janine Robledo), and SUGAR RUSH (words by Daphny Maman, co-composed with Sujin Kim-Ramsey).
Ramsey has written songs and dramatic music with orchestrations for the ESL children's book series, English Egg. He is currently in residency at the 92Y Musical Theatre Development Lab for his musical, SUGAR RUSH.
Ramsey holds degrees from Tyler Junior College, Stephen F. Austin State University, and Tisch School of the Arts, Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, NYU.
